I am a third-year Ph.D. student in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Tech, advised by Professor Jin-Hee Cho. I am a member of the Trustworthy Cyberspace Lab (tClab). My research lies at the intersection of AI safety, cybersecurity, and human-centered AI, with a particular interest in building safer and more trustworthy AI systems for vulnerable users. I study how AI systems can fail or mislead users in safety-critical settings, and how we can better evaluate, mitigate, and recover from these failures.
Research Interests
AI for Human Safety Developing AI systems that help people recognize risks, understand threats, and make safer decisions, particularly in harmful or deceptive online environments.
